Particle Distribution

Intro

Position points on a Particle Shape.

This is a way to attach geometry to each Particle via the Duplicator or, for example, to use a Particle Shape as the input to a Connect Shape (or any other Layer that uses a Distribution).

UI

Input Shape - Add the Particle Shape to distribute points onto.

Example
  1. Create a Particle Shape.
  2. Create a Connect Shape.
  3. Under the Connect Shape's Source tab, set the Source Distribution to Particle.
  4. Connect particleShape.idconnectShape.sourceGenerator.inputShape.
  5. Play

Try adding a second Particle Shape to the Target Distribution and experimenting with the Connect Shape's settings.
