Apply Character Spacing
Intro
Apply Character Spacing can be used as a Style Behaviour on a Text Shape to create procedural kerning pairs. This prevents the need to manually set this up on a case-by-case basis and is ideal for situations where the string may change (e.g. in automated workflows).
UI
+Add - Add a new index.
Match String - Enter the characters to affect.
Character Spacing - Set the Character Spacing for the matched string.
Example
- Create a Text Shape
- In the Attribute Editor, click the + button on the Style Behaviour attribute.
- Select Apply Character Spacing.
- Scrub the Apply Character Spacing's Character Spacing attribute in the Attribute Editor.
