Notable Bug Fixes

  • Text Backgrounds now line up correctly with their parent Text Shape when Line Spacing is adjusted. This was also affecting text styling (strikethrough, underline etc).
  • The + button for the SkSL Filter has been restored.
  • A regression with the SLA Shader has been resolved.
  • An issue where an otherwise unneeded Deformer was required in certain legacy scenes has been resolved.
  • A issue with Filters used on Input Shapes to a Duplicator causing clipping has been resolved.
  • Scaling the child of a Group within a Custom Shape which includes a Filter no longer causes clipping.
  • When scaling a Shape connected to a Filter in a Pre-Comp, the visual result of the Filter now matches in the parent Composition.
  • Marquee selecting a wire twice in the Dependency Graph no longer breaks the UI when moving Layers.
  • A regression meaning the Sort Distribution would not accept transforms for its Target has been resolved.
  • An issue meaning 2.5d Layers in Pre-Comps where a Camera didn't exist could flip order when in a parent Composition has been fixed.
  • Kinematic Bodies in a Forge Dynamics simulation where the only animation is rotation.z are now respected.
  • Using the [ hotkey on a Footage Shape now respects any associated audio correctly.
  • A crash adding dynamic attributes to the SLA Shader via scripting has been resolved.
  • A caching issue meaning adding a Subdivide would block any previous deformer's animation has been resolved.
  • An issue meaning using the Reveal the Origin Layer command for a Pre-Comp Override could cause a non-removable Attribute Editor UI has been resolved.
  • An issue affecting Viewport selection for Editable Shapes with offset pivots has been resolved.
  • A cosmetic issue with the preview for the Sequence Utility has been resolved.
  • A regression meaning the last character of arabic (right to left) text was being rendered twice has been resolved.
