Animation menu
Set Transform Keyframes - Set transform keyframes:
- Position - Set position.x and position.y keyframes for all selected layers at the current frame.
- Rotation - Set rotation keyframes for all selected layers at the current frame.
- Scale - Set scale.x and scale.y keyframes for all selected layers at the current frame.
- All - Set keyframes for all transforms at the current frame.
Magic Easing - Add Magic Easing to the selected keyframes.
Constraints - Add constraints to the Composition:
- Transform Constraint - Add a Transform Constraint.
- Transform Constraint Tools >
- Pick Up - Automatically set the keys needed to pick up a shape when using a Transform Constraint. See example on the Transform Constraint page.
- Drop - automatically set the keys needed to drop a shape when using a Transform Constraint. See example on the Transform Constraint page.
- Point Constraint - Add a Component Constraint set to Point Constraint.
- Edge Constraint - Add a Component Constraint set to Edge Constraint.
- Composition Constraint - add a Composition Constraint.
Add Null - Add a Null to the current Composition.
Create Rubber Hose Limb - Add a Rubber Hose Limb to the current Composition.
Attach Rubber Hose Limb - Attach a Rubber Hose Limb to the selected Shape.
Add Animation Control - Add an Animation Control to the current Composition.
Add Rig Control (Joystick) - Add a Rig Control to the current Composition.
Add Look At - Add a Look At constraint to the current Composition.
Add Time Marker - Add a Time Marker at the playhead.
Animate Along Path - Run commands relating to animating shapes along Paths:
- Move along Path - Using the first two selected shapes this will set up the first to move along the second. For example, select a Shape and then a Path and then run this command. A Pathfinder will be created and connected to the Position and Rotation of the Shape and the Path will be added as its Input Path.
- Deform along Path - using the first two selected shapes this will deform the first along the second. For example, select a Shape and then a Path and then run this command. A Pathfinder will be created and connected as a Deformer to the Shape and the Path will be added as its Input Path.
Nudge Backward - Nudge layers/ keyframes backward in time.
Nudge Forward - Nudge layers/ keyframes forward in time.
Go to Next Keyframe - Move the playhead to the next keyframe. Keyframes can be filtered by selection.
Go to Previous Keyframe - Move the playhead to the previous keyframe. Keyframes can be filtered by selection.
Move Layer Start to Current Frame - Offset the entire Visibility Clip so it starts at the playhead.
Move Layer End to Current Frame - Offset the entire Visibility Clip so it ends at the playhead.
Set Layer In Point to Current Frame - Crop the Visibility Clip so it starts at the playhead.
Set Layer Out Point to Current Frame - Crop the Visibility Clip so it ends at the playhead.
Bake Animation - Sample an animation curve and redraw it based on the chosen settings under the Bake Animation section of the Preferences window. These settings can be used to reduce or increase the number of keyframes created when using the command. This command can also be used to convert procedural animation via Behaviours or Magic Easing to keyframed animation.
Reverse Animation - Reverse the animation curves of selected attributes/keyframes. Select attributes or keyframes in the Scene Window and hit the button.
Delete Animation - Remove all keyframes from selected attributes. Select a layer to remove all animation from all attributes.
Align Keyframes - Align selected keys to each other. This works in the same way aligning shapes does. Imagine a rectangle bordering each 'group' of selected keys on each attribute and then aligning those rectangles to each other.
- Align Left - Align keys to the key nearest to the beginning (left) of your timeline.
- Align Centre - Centrally align keys.
- Align Right - Align keys to the key nearest to the end (right) of your timeline.
